It also portrays the remarkable parallel between the restoration of the nation of Israel and the emergence of the evangelist, teacher, and pastor. Section 2 places these ministries in proper classification, context, and purpose, and highlights the necessary qualifications and ethical quality that should be expected for this level of ministry.

VOL IV
Preceded by an introductory volume, this book gives a comprehensive description of each of the “five-fold ministries”. The apostle is the pioneer and architect with the largest scope. The prophet sharpens the direction of the church, the evangelist reaches everyone with the gospel, the pastor oversees the local assembly, and the teacher ensures that everyone knows and understands the Word. Together, these five enable the Body of Christ to “make disciples of all the nations”.
